Enjoying picking tomatoes in winter

How to grow a 10-foot tomato plant

How to grow a 10-foot tomato plant, this is my method of growing this plant on Kratky hydroponic on a five-gallon bucket.

The first thing you need to do is pick the right tomato, I pick cherry tomatoes because we eat a lot of them and my daughter loves them.

Some tomatoes are too big so you will need to add strong support because they will be heavy, wire or plastic trellis work for me as you can see in my video.

Because I grow tomatoes indoors and outdoors I do not move my indoor houseplant out because of the size of the plant.

The last plant I grew indoors was measured 15-foot long, the roots overgrow on the 5-gallons bucket and I decide to stop.

That plant lasted 10 long months of producing tomatoes we have them for dinner every day.

The things you need

5 Gallon Bucket

Masterblend mix you can buy the kit online, I add potassium for more fruit for recipe search my site for mixing masterblend.

Support for the plant, if growing outdoor you need to build a trellis

Tomatoes plant, you can buy one and transfer from soil to hydroponic

When the plant is growing remove all the suckers and maintain the main vine.

A fan for pollination and that basically all you need
