Comparing growing houseplant on a hanging container

Comparing growing houseplant on a hanging container, will they perform differently because of the direction the roots growing.

Well am doing this project growing a bush cucumber on a hanging pot container, one is growing on top and the other on the bottom facing down.

It, have been two weeks since I germinated and transfer both of the plants to the hanging pots.

The one growing cucumber under, on the top I have a small bush tomato plant that when it grows the roots will get tangled with the cucumber plant and give support.

This way when it is fruit the plants will have support and not get pulled by the weight of the cucumbers.

I want to try this on peppers and see how well it will perform growing upside down.

My video below is showing the progress on this experiment.
