Selecting a good plant container
Selecting a good plant container , there are many topics out there on what container is best.

There are ceramic, grow bags, plastic, clay, metals, and many others. All work fine the problem is overwatering and preventing root rots. I use all kinds depending on the plants as long I follow the watering rules they will live and produce fruit wot no problems.
Am using plastic on my avocados, oranges, and even a banana plant I water when she needs to by checking with a moister meter. I don’t use my finger and check for dryness below 2 inches.
This is why the roots are in the bottom of the container not on the surface. Using a moister meter and inserting deep down the root will tell me it is dry, moist, or wet.
Plant container is important never wait till it dry that a no-no, when is moist that is when I water. Also by noticing the plant leaf you can tell if the is getting enough water.
If it looks droopy add a little water and wait an hour to see if the leaves change condition.
