We all love plants but when it comes to taking care of them we overdo it and after the mistake is done the plant suffers and it takes a long time to recover.
As we know indoors plants depend on us they can’t take care of themselves we are the provider like parents to our children.
All plants are different and they all require special care so that why we need to have a plan for what we work for them so they came to survive our indoor environment.
Last year My banana tree I neglected outside and in the fall I brought it inside and I notice she was dying on me.
I was wondering what was going on until I notice it was no drain holes on the pot.
This begins the process of getting root rot and like a father, I jump right away to take care of my banana plant.
I mixed 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt with one gallon of water and soak the banana roots for 10 minutes.
I change the potting soil with a new one and a new bigger pot, the results after a month were incredible my banana plant looks happy and healthy.
And this is what is all about you need to take your time and see your plant inventory, what type, what is the cause of failure, and try to fix it.
Stick with a plan write down each plant type, how many indoors and outdoors plant you have in inventory.
This way if something happened you will know what to do and will jump right away to save them. They are many books out there that will give some tips and ideas. Happy Gardening.
